Abraham Teerlink usually painted sweeping panoramas, but here, working in Rome in 1822, he zoomed in — a monk descending a shaded path to fetch water from a stream, framed by dense, sun-dappled foliage. It's a small slice of nature rendered at a large scale, thick with the kind of layered plant detail Teerlink built from years of outdoor sketching. That density is a gift to our cut algorithm: leafy textures break into small, organic, tightly whimsical pieces, while the stream and path offer longer, calmer stretches to rest your eyes between passages of foliage. The toughest passages hide where light and shadow trade places in the underbrush. This is one of our more challenging fine-art cuts — patient, detailed, and rewarding for solvers who love working through texture as much as color.

Materials & Craftsmanship

Signature Cut puzzles ship in 2–3 business days. One-of-a-Kind Cut puzzles take a little longer — 3–5 business days — since we're generating and laser-cutting a pattern made just for your order. Fully custom photo puzzles ship in 7–10 business days to allow time for cut design and production. We currently ship within the US only: flat $9.95 on every order, free automatically once your cart reaches $150. You'll get a shipping confirmation with tracking the moment your puzzle leaves the workshop.
Care & Storage
Keep your puzzle dry, out of direct sun, and stored flat once boxed — wood doesn't love humidity or heat any more than the picture on it does. Never glue or varnish an assembled puzzle; if you want to keep one on display, mount it instead. Missing a piece?
